Akhilesh Yadav commented on the Ayodhya gang rape case: said BJP using prapoganda over this sensitive case

On Monday, Samajwadi party Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has criticized Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the Ayodhya gang rape case, blaming him of using political prapoganda in the incident.

* Over the Ayodhya case, Akhilesh Yadav said, “The BJP wants to start a conspiracy before the elections. Their aim from the very first day has been to defame the socialists and especially their thinking about Muslims is undemocratic and unconstitutional.” He further added, “If a ‘Yogi’ does not believe in the democracy and the Constitution, he cannot be a ‘Yogi’.* On Sunday, SP Chief encouraged the court to order protection for the gang-rape victim, by keeping the sensitive of the case. He also mentioned that people are using the political agenda over this sensitive case and they must not allowed to succeed in it.

According to the police, the minor was raped two months ago, the incident become highlighted when a recent medical examination disclosed that the girl was pregnant. Yogi Adityanath claimed that the bakery owner Moid Khan is the member of the Samajwadi party who was arrested in this case and the other man involved in this case Raju Khan were also got arrested on July 30.

Akhilesh Yadav said in a post on X that, “It is a humble request to the
honourable court to take suo motu cognisance of the situation and ensure all possible security to the girl under its supervision, considering the sensitivity and seriousness of the situation. The motive of ill-intentioned people to
politicise such incidents should never succeed,”.
