The name of the alliance was finalized in the meeting of opposition parties in Bengaluru. In
this meeting of 26 parties, the name of the alliance has been kept as INDIA. INDIA means
Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance. The question is why the name of the
opposition alliance was kept as INDIA? According to sources, Rahul Gandhi had proposed
this name. On which Nitish Kumar wanted to know whether it is not sounding like NDA.

This point of Nitish was also discussed. Mamta Banerjee also agreed to this. Now you see the
first two letters in the name of the Congress party are INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS only.
Means Congress has left its mark on INDIA. This thought was of Rahul. Mamta Banerjee
also said during the press conference that our favorite Rahul Gandhi… This was a new style
of Mamta Banerjee… Maybe a day before Sonia Gandhi and Mamta Banerjee had an
informal meeting of 20 minutes . Maybe this is the result of that. However, there was no
discussion on the post of leader in this meeting. But it seems that Congress President
Kharge can be its president. Nitish Kumar can be made the coordinator. Sonia Gandhi’s role
will be that of advisor and troubleshooter.
Sonia Gandhi is not going to be the chairperson of INDIA alliance. All this will be decided in
the next meeting in Mumbai and some working groups will also be formed. The action plan
will be finalized there. Everybody heaved a sigh of relief due to the presence of Sharad
Pawar and Arvind Kejriwal in the Bengaluru meeting. But the seat-sharing deal with the TMC
in Bengal, the Left parties in Kerala and now with the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab and Delhi
is stuck. It is possible that there will be no further talk on this. That is, there should be an
alliance of Congress and Trinamool in Bengal and the Left parties should remain separate
and in Delhi and Punjab some other arrangements should be made without compromising
with AAP. Also in Kerala, the Left and the Congress will fight against each other. Means
INDIA does not want to give the space of opposition to BJP.
This battle of 2024 has now become interesting where a line has been drawn and all the
political parties of the country have to decide whether they are in INDIA or in NDA. That
means the competition is going to be fun.
