The third meeting of the INDIA alliance, a new opposition bloc, have been announced. The third meeting of the INDIA will take place in Mumbai from August 31 to September 1. The meeting, which took place against the backdrop of evolving social and economic challenges, showcased the commitment of stakeholders to collaborate and steer the country toward a brighter future for all its citizens. The new name of the opposition bloc — INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) — comprising 26 parties was announced at a meeting in Bengaluru on July 17-18 to take on the ruling NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The first meeting of the opposition parties was held in Patna. It was after the second meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said a committee comprising 11 members for coordination purposes among the opposition parties is to be formed and a convenor will be announced during the third planned meeting in Mumbai.
The success of the third meeting serves as a beacon of hope, demonstrating that when stakeholders from different sectors come together with a shared vision, transformative change becomes achievable. With the spirit of inclusivity and progress as its driving force, the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance paves the way for a brighter, more equitable future for all Indians.
