Russia’s dream of going to the moon was shattered. Their spacecraft Luna-25 has crashed on the surface of the moon. The Russian Space Agency Roscosmos has confirmed this. They have accepted that wrong parameters were set by them. There was an error in data analysis because of which the vehicle went into the wrong orbit and crashed. Russia can no longer make a mission to go to the moon right away. Their dream has been shattered. The Russian Space Agency said that yesterday there was a problem in contacting Luna-25. After that several attempts were made to contact the aircraft but no result was found.
Roscosmos said that according to preliminary investigation, Luna-25 had deviated from the original parameters. Instead of the fixed orbit, it went into another orbit where it should not have gone. Because of this, he crashed directly near the south pole of the moon.

Russia sent a mission to the moon after about 47 years. But his five-decade-old dream is no more. It was being claimed about Luna-25 that it would land on the moon before Chandrayaan-3. But even the Russian Space Agency had no idea that it would be a crash landing. Luna-25 was launched at 4:40 am on August 11 from Vostoni Cosmodrome in Amur Oblast. Launching was done with Soyuz 2.1B rocket. It is also called Luna-Globe Mission. Since the 1976 Luna-24 mission, no Russian vehicle has reached the lunar orbit till date. It arrived but in bad condition. Russia had launched from Soyuz rocket. It was about 46.3 meters long. Its diameter was 10.3 meters. The weight was 313 tons. It released the Luna-25 lander in a circular orbit outside the Earth. After which this spacecraft left on the avenue of the moon. He traveled for 5 days on that highway. After this it reached the orbit around the moon. But crashed a day before the scheduled landing. Russia had a plan that Luna-25 would land on the surface of the moon on 21 or 22 August. Its demeanor will start landing after reaching 18 km above the lunar surface. After reducing the height of 15 km, there will be a passive descent from a height of 3 km. That is, gradually the demeanor will land on the surface of the moon. From 700 meters height, the jet engines will be on quikly to slow down its speed. At a height of 20 meters, the engine will run at a slow speed. So that it can land. Luna-25 went for the purpose of working on the surface of the Moon for a year. The weight was 1.8 tons. Scientific instruments weighing 31 kg were installed in it. An instrument was installed which would collect samples of stone and soil by digging 6 inches of the surface. So that frozen water can be discovered. Luna-25 will land near the Boguslavsky Crater near the south pole of the moon. It has a range of 30 x 15 km for landing.
