A 40-year-old man has died from heatstroke in Delhi, which is currently experiencing a severe heatwave with record-breaking temperatures. The man, originally from Darbhanga in Bihar, was brought to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital late Monday night with a body temperature of 108 degrees Fahrenheit, nearly 10 degrees above the normal range.
Dr. Rajesh Shukla, a physician at the hospital, explained that the man’s kidneys and liver had failed due to the extreme heat. Despite efforts to treat him, he tragically passed away.
The intense heatwave in Delhi is causing significant health issues. Experts are urging people to stay indoors as much as possible, drink plenty of water, and take precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses. This unfortunate incident highlights the severe dangers posed by the current heatwave.
