Truth, it is a main significance element of any foundation, company, realtion or of any association but when we talk about in context of journalism truth is a ethical part of it. Journalism is known as the 4th pillar of democracy. but in modern world does the journalism equally or truly serving the democracy? Journalism in normal way known as the source of providing information and news on daily basis we gets thousands of national and international news through newspapers, television, online platforms This is a small part of it, in the world of journalism,There are some ethics that needs to be followed by a professional journalist The journalists role is to provide the accurate and true content to the people. However, we can take a look on election campaign going in india recently by the different political parties and how they are changing the people’s mind-set, opinions through there Speech Leaders are providing negative statements for the opponent parties that sometimes is not relevant but a journalist have to report it. In today’s senerio providing false and biased content become a normal part of a life. but, does a journalist should provide the unfaithful content is it not against the principles of journalism?

If a leader that is in power speaking lies then what a reporter can do? on the other hand if BJP speaks about the congress policy statement so that can be verified but, when it speaks about if jawaharlal nehru would  not have became the first prime Minister instead of him sardar Patel would be the wise choice for the prime Minister post so as of now India would have become the superpower.
There is nothing a reporter can do regarding this statement and bound to report it.
