On Saturday, The 78 year old former president Donald Trump of US was hit by the bullet thar injured his ear, during his Campaign rally. He was immediately rushed off stage with blood across his face, after the shooting in Bulter, Pennsylvania. The gunshot were heard when Trump had just started delivering his speech at his rally before the Republican National Convention. Thousands of his supporters were present there when the shooting took place to hit him and was captured live on news channels. This has caused the deep concern regarding the upcoming US presidential Elections.
According to the information of FBI the lead federal law enforcement agency the shooting was being treated as an “assassination attempt” against the formerPresident, the gunshooter was identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, he was 20 year old of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. According to the source, Matthew was killed by the officials when he opened fire on the former President. He was registered as the Republican, mentioned in the state’s voter record.
Trump after being attacked in the rally, mentioned that “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. ‘I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin,” Trump said on his Truth Social site. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening,” he added. He also thanked the Secret Service and law enforcement for their “rapid response”. ‘It is incredible that such an act can take place in our country,” he said.
