Jamia hamdard, A deemed University achieved A+ grade in NAAC fourth cycle of accreditation with CGPA 3.14. A hearty congratulations to the vice chancellor professor Dr. M Afshar Alam and the whole university for this success.This news is also shared on many social media platforms of Jamia hamdard

Prof Dr. M Afshar congratulated the stakeholders as well as the whole staff,faculty and students of the university for their constant efforts. It were a 3 day cycle conducted by the efficient peer team of NAAC .The college has been constantly upgrading their rank and position as they are also ranked as 1st in NIRF ranking of university in pharmacy and also ranked 45th for overall university. It all started with the vision of Hakeem Abdul Hameed saheb for the betterment of the future through his efforts as he named this college Hamdard which  itself means sympathy for all and sharing of pain,his optimum goal as it started with the unani medicine.The foundation of Hamdard was laid in 1989 which is inaugurated by Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi on August 01, 1989. In the speech of a late Prime Minister, he lauded the efforts of Hakeem Abdul Hameed in setting up institutions of learning which were emerging in the form of a “Deemed to be University”. He also mentioned how“This will enable (the Muslim) minority to go forward and help India to march forward”.Now, in present Jamia hamdard is a house of many departments and schools from medical to mass communication. It is constantly proving it’s vision and mission to be true. Their visions and missions are “To provide international quality higher education and undertake cutting-edge research in the fields of social, natural science and technology and particularly promote study of modern and traditional medicine systems, especially Unani-tibb, encompassing a holistic and integrative approach to healthcare and to meet societal education needs of underprivileged Indian communities.” This university has a bright future ahead and is also shaping the future of the youth in beautiful colors.
